چکیده

Biofuels production become a target for many researchers nowadays. Biodiesel is one the most important biofuels that are produced from biomass using economics and modern techniques. The ductile cast iron solid waste dust of wastes by industry which has bad effect on environment. This paper investigates possibility reusing as biodiesel heterogeneous catalyst used in its sunflower cooking oil. Four reaction parameters were chosen to determine their responses. M:O ratio, time temperature, loading. responses glycerol conversions. upper lower limits selected each parameter such (50–70 °C) (5–20) methanol oil molar (1–5%) loading, (1–4 h) time. Optimization was done with economic environmental targets include lowering cost, increasing volume produced, decreasing amount resulting glycerol. optimum reactions 20:1 65 °C 5 wt% 2 h time, stirring rate 750 rpm. conversion at this conditions 91.7 percent agreed all standards. usability test it found can be up 4 times after fresh required used.

Biodiesel Production from Palm Oil using Heterogeneous Base Catalyst

In this study, the transesterification of palm oil with methanol for biodiesel production was studied by using CaO–ZnO as a heterogeneous base catalyst prepared by incipient-wetness impregnation (IWI) and co-precipitation (CP) methods. The reaction parameters considered were molar ratio of methanol to oil, amount of catalyst, reaction temperature, and reaction time. The optimum conditions—15:1 ...

Transesterification of Waste Cooking Oil for Biodiesel Production Using Modified Clinoptilolite Zeolite as a Heterogeneous Catalyst

Reduction of fossil fuels sources, increasing of pollution gases emission, and global warming effects increase the demand of renewable fuels. One of the main candidates of alternative fuels is biodiesel. Biodiesel limits greenhouse gas effects due to the closed CO2 cycle. Biodiesel has more biodegradability, lower combustion emissions such as CO, SOx, HC, PM and lower toxicity than petro diesel...

Biodiesel production from soybean oil using ionic liquid as a catalyst in a microreactor

In the present study, Choline hydroxide (ChOH) as an ionic liquid catalyst was used for transesterification of soybean oil into biodiesel in a microchannel reactor. The effects of three variables i.e. reaction temperature, catalyst dosage and total flow rate on fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) content (wt. %) were optimized using Box–Behnken experimental design. In order to predict the FAME conte...

An unprecedented (3,4,24)-connected heteropolyoxozincate organic framework as heterogeneous crystalline Lewis acid catalyst for biodiesel production

A novel 3D hexadecanuclear heteropolyoxozincate organic framework, IFMC-200, has been successfully synthesized based on a late transition metal-oxygen cluster. IFMC-200 not only represents the first example of (3,4,24)-connected framework but also contains the first 24-connected single metal cluster in a crystal structure. It exhibits superior thermal stability, good water-stability, and even i...
